The Barista Foundations Program is a focused, hands-on training designed for working baristas and serious beginners who want to build strong fundamentals without committing to a long-term program.
Conducted inside our Coffee Lab, the course is intentionally limited in size to allow for close guidance, repetition, and attention to detail. The emphasis is on understanding extraction, developing consistency, and building confidence behind the bar — not on shortcuts or surface-level techniques.
The program runs for 15 hours and is offered in two formats:
5-Day Standard — paced, structured sessions (3 hours per day)
2-Day Intensive — immersive, fast-track learning (7.5 hours per day)
Both formats follow the same curriculum, use commercial-grade equipment, and lead to the same certification. The difference lies only in pace, not depth or quality.

The Barista Foundations Program is designed for working baristas, beginners who want to upskill quickly, and café owners looking to train staff. No prior experience is required, but the program is structured for those who are serious about learning.
No. Beginners are welcome. The curriculum starts with fundamentals and builds progressively. Working baristas benefit from refining technique, consistency, and workflow.
Both formats cover the same curriculum and total learning hours. The 5-day format is paced and spread out, while the 2-day format is immersive and intensive. The difference is pace, not content.
All sessions are conducted at Coffee Lab, our purpose-built training space equipped with commercial-grade machines and tools.
The program is predominantly practical. Participants spend most of the time working with espresso, milk, and manual brews, with close guidance and feedback.
Training is conducted on commercial espresso machines, grinders, and manual brewing equipment similar to what is used in specialty cafés.
Batches are intentionally small, with a maximum of 6–8 participants, to ensure individual attention and sufficient hands-on practice.
